Feature film, 83 mins | Germany, Serrbia, USA | 2026
Hoda, an Iranian refugee living in Berlin, is pregnant and in love with Boris, a queer man from Serbia. They decide to marry and raise the child together, imagining that they can create a family on their own terms. As the wedding approaches and they become increasingly entangled in each other’s families and histories, bureaucracy, inherited expectations and ideas about love and parenthood begin to test their relationship. They are forced to ask whether they can reinvent what it means to be a couple without losing what brought them together in the first place.
